Captain Jay is a Nigerian, born in the Northern of parts of the Country to a Southern parents.
Growing up with so much love for arts; visual, creative and performing arts, music has always been a best friend and a means of escape from the hustles and bustles of the everyday life.

Captain Jay is not restricted to a particular genre as he can comfortably blend through all forms of genres. He has written hundreds of songs, performed live on different stages, had his debut album in the year 2013 and since then has had different singles.

He is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt and also a Master’s degree hold from same university.
